Last year I did a musical Advent Calendar and it was so much fun that I've decided to have another bash. Believe it or not there is a great deal of fine Xmas music out there and only a mere fraction of it gets played on the radio. And most of these artists are making music all year round so you may get to discover a few new favourites.
I'm going to kick off in Scandinavia. Rolicking Norwegian fiddling from Majorstuen. Hardy lot these Norwegians! Fiddling away in the snow in nothing but a T shirt!

This summer I got to see Gjermund Larsen's Trio (a solo project - he's the dark one with the beard) here in Stockholm and very fine they were too.
They must have been deep frozen after the filming, one of them only wears a t-shirt...those vikings :)
