Lively times for the Undead

What do you do on a Saturday afternoon with a bored seven-year old? Take him down to the Zombie Walk, of course. I received this fine photo from Tor Zombiedad and Tycho who spent some of Saturday walking with the Undead.

Children of today are pretty unphased by vampires, zombies, werewolves etc and seem pretty clued up about what to do with them. In fact if the earth got threatened by a giant robot invasion or a plague of zombies, I'd hand things over to a gang of seven-year olds. They'd soon get things sorted.

Zombies, in case you hadn't noticed are big business these days. Kai has a DVD of a cute children's TV series called Zombie Hotel and one can even buy zombie jim-jams for toddlers.

Tor and Tycho later wandered down to a medieval event in Gamla Stan.I remember going to one of these a few years back and benusedly asking a pock-marked, bewarted peasant in stinking rags who was stirring a cauldron what he did as a day job.

You're joking! He replied.Things are booming in our business sector.

And what sector might that be? I asked.

The medieval sector of course. It's spreading like the Black Death. If you want a career with a future I recommend the Middle Ages!
