I'll confess that with me a little metal goes quite a long way.
One thing that fascinates me is how heavy metal has become so very mainstream in recent years. I'm old enough to remember when it was a really underground scene: dodgy satanists carrying out dark deeds in murky pubs in Birmingham. Nowadays it's loved by everyone: bank maagers,prime ministers, nobel prize winners. Metal has become completely socially acceptable.
My unspeakable son, who is 7 years old, started our day this morning with a blast of Lordi.
