As Nick Hornby so clearly documented in High Fidelity, lads do love lists. Personally I find those that catalogue such things as the 10 best Beatles B sides or the world's 5 greatest lefthanded jazz xylophonists rather tiresome.
This very witty, erudite book though is a joy from beginning to end.
