Embossed?

Music is a great source of solace in troubled times. For most of you this probably means reaching for the Purcell, Arvo Pärt or Mozart. I have different needs.


This morning I've been listening to a double album of Rolling Stones covers done bossa nova style. What a tonic! After that it will Norwegian death punks Turbonegro given a Brazilian makeover. Then perhaps a little Morrissey a la Mariachi? Or the Irresistible Zulu Warriors of Soweto sing the Cocteau Twins songbook?

And to round things off The Who a la Ipanema: Meet the new bossa, same as the old bossa!
